SEAHEALTH Denmark was set up to provide assistance for all Danish flagged merchant vessels over 20 GRT. According to the Danish Maritime Agency Notices A, this target group is required to have membership of SEAHEALTH Denmark.
Others can sign up to the scheme by contacting UFDS (Accident Insurance for Danish Shipping) that collects membership fees for the Service. Danish shipowners with foreign flagged vessels may for example do so to gain access to our services for their vessels.
SEAHEALTH Denmark users include shipowners, ship management, safety committees aboard and individual seamen. We also work closely with other maritime associations, organisations, training centres, research institutes, regulatory authorities, etc.
